Scarcity of resource is not as same as scarcity of opportunities. Since world population increase and people have to suffocate to obtain their demand,it reflect that needs and demand increase each day and night thus someone demand is someone opportunity. It is not easy each one to satisfy his demand that why it referred someone demand is someone opportunity.
Youth constitute approximately 18% of world population. But the question comes is that population bring impact to the world development? In some extent its yes but not as it should be, youths were faced with various challenges that undermine their impact to the world development. 20% of all youth in the developing world are not in education, training, or employment. Here another question rose is education and trainings are the only solution to the youth development? It is not , because there are number of youths received formal education but they stay unemployed and not productive. Here each world youth support organization and youths themselves should brainstorm on the causes of the situation in order to overcome it.
Partially, youths were faced with various challenges on making them productive apart from the fact that some of them receive formal and informal education and trainings. Basing on areas, in sub Saharan Africa , youth were not prepared to be productive base on the education systems,society,policies and information. Youths think of only single channel to create impact to the development and that is that what they taught in schools and colleges. They were not equipped with knowledge that will allow them to adopt global changes in economic and social matters. It is worse for those with no formal education and training they are brain stacked with no idea what to do.
Looking to other side, training on self reliance and entrepreneurship is provided to those youths , but its only to some of the targeted number. Information is only available for those with platform to obtain those information but to those in rural areas and those with no platform it is great challenge. Unfortunately even for those received education and training fall to another trap , they lack financial support ,follow up and mentor ship, therefore no impact created.
To solve youths' development issues require to dig in to the roots and time investments and research, but for youth they have to start personal improvement efforts to make sure that they become productive to their societies and world at large. They should organize themselves and create platform were everyone will share his/her potential to reach personal development goal.Some have information but they have no idea on how and where to use it,some with knowledge and skills of doing things but they lack information on where they will apply their skills. By joining it will create least impact to their lives.
To get support from development organization need to be organized. Youths should learn how to organize themselves even for small projects there they will start to have at least initial to big project.
Youths issues are very wide and complex, they should be discussed in a very often bases.This small article aim to introduce some of the issues faced by youths ans some partial solution.In the coming articles more problems and solutions will be arose basing on comments and readers recommendation.
